Hello, friends! Pastor Blake here, ready to wrap up our week by exploring one of the most dramatic deliverances in the Gospels. In Luke 8, a man controlled by evil spirits is utterly transformed when he meets Jesus.

No matter how broken or lost a person appears, Christ’s power to heal and restore is greater. Let’s see how this truth encourages us in our own journeys toward wholeness.

Begin this time pondering the following questions:

1. What are you thankful for today?

2. What burdens, fears, or areas of sin do you need to release to God today?

Now, let’s ask God to help us find HOPE in Him today:

“Lord, open my heart and mind to Your Word today. Help me to see the hope You have for me in these pages. Shine Your light on every truth, and guide me to understand, trust, and apply what You reveal. May Your presence transform my heart and fill me with the hope only You can give. Amen.”

Today's Devotional:
This tortured individual lived among tombs, estranged from society and tormented day and night—yet everything changed when he encountered Jesus. Instantly, the man is freed from demonic oppression, regains clarity of mind, and is restored to a peaceful life.

We witness a Savior whose authority breaks every chain and a mercy that covers even the darkest places. Like this man, we all have areas that need Christ’s liberating touch. Whether it’s emotional scars, deep-rooted fears, or entrenched struggles, Jesus has the power to usher in genuine freedom.

May we close this week assured that the same transformative love displayed in this passage is available to us. Let’s invite Jesus into every hidden corner of our hearts and trust Him to bring lasting change.
