Hello again! It’s Pastor Blake, ready to walk alongside you as we explore another powerful moment with Jesus. In Luke 8:40-56, we find two miracles intertwined—a young girl’s life in jeopardy and a woman afflicted with a long-term illness. Despite overwhelming circumstances, Jesus meets both needs with life-changing grace.

As we reflect on these stories, let’s remember that Christ’s compassion knows no boundaries. What He touches, He restores—even when we feel hopeless.

🙏 HUMBLE

Begin this time pondering the following questions:

1. What are you thankful for today?

2. What burdens, fears, or areas of sin do you need to release to God today?

Now, let’s ask God to help us find HOPE in Him today:

“Lord, open my heart and mind to Your Word today. Help me to see the hope You have for me in these pages. Shine Your light on every truth, and guide me to understand, trust, and apply what You reveal. May Your presence transform my heart and fill me with the hope only You can give. Amen.”

Today's Devotional:
Jairus, a synagogue leader, pleads with Jesus to heal his dying daughter. On the way to her bedside, a woman suffering for twelve years reaches out in faith, touching Jesus’ robe—and is healed instantly. Even when Jairus receives devastating news that his daughter has died, Jesus continues forward, bringing the girl back to life.

Both miracles reveal the boundless mercy and might of God. The woman’s courage in approaching Jesus, despite her long history of disappointment, teaches us the power of persistent faith. Jairus’ decision to trust Jesus, even after the worst outcome seems certain, shows us that Christ’s presence transforms despair into hope.

Today, take heart that Jesus’ power extends into every corner of our trials. He is both able and willing to meet you where you are, turning your fear into confident assurance.
