Pastor Blake here with your Tuesday Daily Hope Devotion. The Gospels are filled with moments where Jesus meets people in their need and transforms their situations. Today’s scripture is a concise glimpse of that power: crowds press in around Jesus just to touch Him, and everyone who does experiences healing.

Perhaps you’re in a season where you long for a breakthrough in your health, relationships, or emotions. Let’s take heart in the reality that Jesus is still the same compassionate Healer who touched people’s lives so many centuries ago.

🙏 HUMBLE

Begin this time pondering the following questions:

1. What are you thankful for today?

2. What burdens, fears, or areas of sin do you need to release to God today?

Now, let’s ask God to help us find HOPE in Him today:

“Lord, open my heart and mind to Your Word today. Help me to see the hope You have for me in these pages. Shine Your light on every truth, and guide me to understand, trust, and apply what You reveal. May Your presence transform my heart and fill me with the hope only You can give. Amen.”

Now, let’s observe what God has to say in His Word:

Today's Devotional:
The crowds in Luke 6:17-19 come from various regions, demonstrating how word of Jesus’ power has spread rapidly. They bring their needs with expectancy. The passage highlights that power was radiating from Jesus, and everyone who touched Him was healed. This tells us a great deal about God’s character: He is not distant or reluctant; He graciously meets those who approach Him in faith.

We also see a reminder of our own human nature: we often wait until crisis mode to seek the Lord. However, God is not offended by our desperation. Instead, He welcomes us close. When life’s storms push us to the edge, Christ remains our steadfast refuge.

Practically, this might mean turning first to prayer and scripture when difficulties arise, trusting that the same Jesus who healed long ago is present and active. It could involve aligning our habits—like making time for fellowship, receiving prayer, or seeking Christian counsel—with our belief that God wants to mend and restore us. In doing so, we position ourselves to experience the love, power, and grace He so willingly gives.

• Ask for boldness to share today’s story and invite others to follow Him, praying that God would use your obedience to multiply disciples.

Let this time align your heart with His and empower you for His mission.
